Westmount Road – Disabled Bay [T11(26)]

The Greenwich (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 158) Order 2026

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, on 24th August 2026, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a ‘Disabled Badge Holders Only’ bay in Westmount Road – north-east side, from a point 1metre north-west of the common boundary of Nos. 308 and 310 for 6.6 metres in a north-westerly direction.

Note: the disabled bay referred to in paragraph 2 of this notice was part of a batch of proposals advertised on 22nd October 2025 (for details please go to www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4984832 ).

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 2nd September 2026, along with other relevant documents can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at Woolwich Centre Library, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street, London SE18 6HQ

4. Further information may be obtained from writing to Parking Design Team, Floor 3, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street, London SE18 6HQ or emailing at parking-design@royalgreenwich.gov.uk quoting reference T11(26) - Westmount Road DB.

5. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
