TEMPORARY PROHIBITION/RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2026 FARNDON FP2 (PART)
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport hereby approves of the continuing in force of the above Order made on 3 February 2026 and effective from 17 February 2026. The Secretary of State now grants an extension of the said Order until 17 February 2028 or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit/restrict pedestrians on Farndon Public Right of Way FP2 (part) from a point close to the Picnic Area at OSGR SJ 4120 5442 running in a South Easterly direction for approximately 262 metres to a point at OSGR SJ 4141 5428, where Farndon FP2 meets Farndon FP3, whilst works on or adjacent to the public footpath are undertaken, due to a landslide and the likelihood of danger to the public.
There is no alternative route.
This order does not prevent any pedestrians with access to premises situated on or adjacent to the public footpaths only accessible from the path or by any emergency vehicle.
