Bigginmill Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Fibre Cabling Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BIGGINMILL LANE, ASHBOURNE
WHEN: 14 September to 06 October 2026 (working days only between 08:00 to 18:00 each day.)
WHERE: Bigginmill Lane, Ashbourne between Biggin Mill Farm and The Woodlands Farm.
REASON: To facilitate fibre cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Gorses, Cliffash Lane, Bullhill Lane, Hillcliff Lane, Ashbourne Road, Belper Road, Biggin Lane, Bigginmill Lane, Nether Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic
