ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on the following stretches of road:
· George Street closed its entire length in both
directions. St Johns Square closed from its junction
with Bond Street to side of FBC Manby Bowdler
Solicitors. It is anticipated that the closure will
operate on 4th September 2026 only from 07:00
until 20:00.
· Snow Hill closed in both directions between its
junction with Temple Street and its junction with
Ring Road. Vehicular Diversion Route: Temple
Street, Worcester Street and Ring Road or Ring
Road, Bilston Street and St Georges Parade. It is
anticipated that the closure will operate on
4th September 2026 only from 09:30 until 15:30.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on the above date, between the times
specified.
The Order is required to facilitate filming.
