HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Pencoed, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn a fydd yn cyflwyno’r cyfyngiad dros dro a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd gwaith cynnal a chadw ar gledrau’r rheilffordd.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 09/09/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 22:30 a 06:00 o 22/09/2026 tan 23/09/2026.
Atodlen-Ni chaiff unrhyw un beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd 30 metr o Hendre Road ar draws y groesfan reilffordd.
Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau yw trwy Hendre Road, Min-y-Nant, Ffordd Liniaru Hendre Road, Penprysg Road, Penybont Road, ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
Ni ellir darparu mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiad ar gyfer yr Heddlu, y Gwasanaeth Tân a’r Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau.Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig gydol y cyfnod cau.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(HENDRE ROAD, MIN-Y-NANT, PENCOED)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Pencoed in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety due train track maintenance.
The Order will come into force on the 09/09/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 22:30 and 06:00 from the 22/09/2026 to 23/09/2026.
Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along 30 meters of Hendre Road over the level crossing.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Hendre Road, Min V Nant, Hendre Road Relief Road, Penprysg Road, Penybont Road, and vice versa. Access cannot be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
