What is happening?

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.  
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Phase 1-B3335 Highbridge Road between its junction with Pitmore Road and continuing to a point 220 metres East on B3335 Highbridge Road. (15/09-23/10)  
Phase 2-B3335 Allbrook Hill between its junction with A335 Allbrook Way and its junction with Pitmore Road. (05/10-30/10)  
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A335, B3037, B3354, B3335.  
DURATION OF ORDER: from Tuesday 15th September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 6 weeks and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day, please note these works will be carried out in phases).  
The Temporary Road Closures has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for SGN to complete essential gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Customer@sgn.co.uk.
