HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Tondu, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae’r Gorchymyn er budd rhesymau diogelwch y cyhoedd er mwyn rheoli traffig wrth symud llwyth anarferol i safle datblygu WEPA ar yr A4063 Maesteg.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26/08/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 23:00 a 07:00 o 05/09/2026 tan 06/09/2026
Atodlen-Ni chaiff unrhyw un beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ar hyd: Atodlen 1—Cau Dros Dro: Cau Ffordd yr A4063 Maesteg Road Tondu, o’i chyffordd â’r ffordd fynediad i Ffordd Antwyn hyd at ei chyffordd â Cross Street.
Atodlen 2 – Cyfyngiadau Parcio: Yr A4063 Tondu i Faesteg, Cyfyngiadau parcio i atal parcio ar unrhyw adeg, gan gynnwys cyfyngiadau ar lwytho a dadlwytho, o’r A4065 Bryn Road i fynedfa WEPA ar yr A4063.
Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw trwy Atodlen 1: A4063, B4281, A48, A4107, B4282, A4063 ac yn ôl i’r cyfeiriad arall.Bydd mynediad drwy’r cyfyngiadau ar gael i’r Heddlu, y Gwasanaeth Tân a’r Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau.
Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig gydol y cyfnod cau.Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol ond ar yr amser ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a bennir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddydau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(A4063 MAESTEG ROAD, TONDU) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Tondu in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety reasons to control traffic during abnormal load movement to WEPA development on A4063 Maesteg.
The Order will come into force on the 26/08/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 23:00 and 07:00 from 05/09/2026 to 06/09/2026
Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along: Schedule 1—Temporary Closure: Road Closure A4063 Maesteg Road Tondu, from its junction with access road to Ffordd Antwyn to its junction of Cross Street.
Schedule 2 – Parking Restrictions: A4063 Tondu to Maesteg, Parking restrictions to prevent parking at any time, including restrictions on loading and unloading, from A4065 Bryn Road to A4063 WEPA entrance.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Schedule 1: A4063, B4281, A48, A4107, B4282, A4063 and reverse in opposite direction. Access will not be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
