The Council intends to make an order, operative from 13 September 2026 for 1 day approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Radcliffe Road from Hacken Lane to Lever Bridge Place, to allow manhole repairs to take place. Alternative route is via Bradford St, Bury Rd, Radcliffe Moor Rd, Countess Ln, Stopes Rd, High St, Market St, Ainsworth Rd, Victory Rd, Tong Rd. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
