HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel Awdurdod Priffyrdd Corneli, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y'i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn a fydd yn cau dros dro y llwybrau troed a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae'r Gorchymyn er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd gwaith chwythu graean a phaentio gwaith dur dec y bont.Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26/08/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o chwe mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Bydd y llwybr ar gau o 7 Medi 2026 hyd at 16 Hydref 2026 neu nes bod y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau am uchafswm o 6 mis.Fodd bynnag, ni fydd y cyfyngiad yn berthnasol ond ar yr amser ac i’r graddau a nodir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a bennir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddydau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) (BRIDLEWAY 16 GARW VALLEY) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Cornelly in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily close the footpaths set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety during the grit blasting and painting of the steelwork elements of the bridge deck.
The Order will come into force on the 26/08/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of six months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner.
The closure is from 7th September 2026 to 16th October 2026 or until the works are completed for a maximum period of 6 months.
The restriction shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
Schedule -That section of Bridleway 16 Garw Valley from its junction with Moel Gilau in a general southerly direction for 1735 metres to its junction with Pen Parcau, Bettws.There is no suitable alternative route available.
