SCARNING – U35152 Grange Road from its junction with C470 Dereham Road for 60m southwards to facilitate pole replacement works between 08:00 and 18:00 on 27th August 2026 (may continue until 8th October 2026). Alternative route is via: C470 Dereham Road, B1146 Draytonhall Lane, A47, U35152 Grange Road and vice versa. The works promoter is BT.

SHIPDHAM – C196 Swan Lane from its junction with A1075 Dereham Road for 312m northwards to facilitate new electricity installation works from 24th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Swan Lane, Daffy Green, Dereham Road, Bradenham Road, A1075 Watton Road, High Street, Church Close, Chapel Street, Market Street (Bradenham, Scarning, Shipdham). The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

SWARDESTON – U78023 Mangreen Lane from its junction with B1113 Main Road for 543m eastwards to facilitate tree cutting and pole testing works from 24th to 25th August 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2026). THETFORD – A) U30704 Kimms Belt from its junction with C587 London Road for 90m south-eastwards and B) U30705 Burrell Way from its junction with U30704 Kimms Belt for 65m south-westwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works from 27th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). TOPCROFT – U76383 Rookery Lane from its junction with C368 The Street to its junction with C369 Church Road to facilitate new fibre network installation works from 24th August to 1st September 2026 (may continue until 13th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Church Road, Topcroft Street. The works promoter is CityFibre.

WICKLEWOOD – C166 Hackford Road from its junction with U78065 Church Lane for 470m northwards to facilitate new water connection works from 24th to 26th August 2026 (may continue until 7th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Hackford Road, Low Road, Hingham Road, Station Road, Wymondham Road, Crownthorpe Road (Wymondham, Deopham, Kimberley and Carleton Forehoe, Wicklewood). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

DOWNHAM MARKET – 2Y76 Cycle Path From 22 Bulrush Avenue to 49 Mallard End from 24m south of its joining with U23771 Tinkers Way for 25m southwards to facilitate HRA patching works from 24th to 25th August 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Cycle Path From 22 Bulrush Avenue to 49 Mallard End, Mallard End, Bennett Street, Tinkers Way. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

DOWNHAM MARKET – U23551 Cannon Square from its junction with C885 High Street for 27m south-eastwards to facilitate boundary wall repair works from 24th to 25th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

KING’S LYNN – A) U20767 Thoresby Avenue from its junction with U20769 Parkway for 50m north-eastwards and B) U20769 Parkway from 50m southeast of its junction with U20767 Thoresby Avenue for 100m north-westwards to facilitate carriageway planing and resurfacing works between 08:30 and 16:30 from 24th August to 21st September 2026 (may continue until 21st March 2027). Alternative route is via: Parkway, Thurlin Road, Hall View Road, Oak Circle, Thoresby Avenue. The works promoter is Norse. NB: The works are anticipated to take place in phases: Phase 1 between 08:30 and 16:30 from 24th to 28th August 2026. Phase 2 between 08:30 and 16:30 from 14th to 21st September 2026.

KING’S LYNN – U20427 Blackfriars Street from 8m west of its junction with U20425 Paradise Road for 52m westwards to facilitate infiltration testing works, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 27th August to 1st September 2026 (may continue until 13th October 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

METHWOLD – U21375 Thornham Road from 600m north of its junction with C40 Severalls Road for 60m northwards to facilitate parapet fence repair and vegetation clearance works between 05:00 and 17:00 on 27th August 2026 (may continue until 8th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Thornham Road, Severalls Road, Methwold Road, Hythe Road, Crown Street, High Street, Globe Street. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

SNETTISHAM – C85 Station Road from its junction with U23131 Southgate Close for 40m eastwards to facilitate blockage clearance and new box installation works between 08:00 and 18:00 from 24th to 26th August 2026 (may continue until 7th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Station Road, Lynn Road, Alma Road, Common Road, Snettisham Bypass, Beach Road. The works promoter is BT.

SOUTH WOOTTON – C78 Priory Lane from 20m south of its junction with U22555 The Birches for 20m southwards to facilitate air valve relocation works from 24th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Priory Lane, Lynn Road, Ling Common Road, The Green (Castle Rising, North Wootton, South Wootton). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

STOW BARDOLPH – C51 Wimbotsham Road from 1m south of its junction with C5 Stow Bridge Road for 65m to facilitate HRA patching works from 24th to 25th August 2026 (may continue until 6th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Stow Bridge Road, Stow Bardolph Bypass A10, Lynn Road, Church Road, West Way, Wimbotsham Road (Wimbotsham, Stow Bardolph). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

TERRINGTON ST. CLEMENT – A) C22 Market Lane from its junction with C80 Sutton Road for 650m south-westwards and B) C22 Market Lane from 540m southwest of its junction with A17 Lynn Road for 2690m south-westwards to facilitate water mains renewal works from 24th August to 18th December 2026 (may continue until 23rd February 2028). Alternative route is via: Market Lane, Terrington St Clement Bypass A17, Station Road, Sutton Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water. NB: The works are anticipated to take place in phases. Road A is anticipated from 24th August to 28th September 2026, and Road B is anticipated from 21st September to 18th December 2026.

UPWELL – U21019 Baptist Road from its junction with C766 School Road for 40m south-eastwards to facilitate fire hydrant repair works from 24th to 28th August 2026 (may continue until 9th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Baptist Road, New Bridge Road, School Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

WALPOLE – C1 Mill Road from 110m south of its junction with U21078 Folgate Lane for 120m southwards to facilitate pole test works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 26th August 2026 (may continue until 7th October 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Wisbech Road, Walton Road, Southfields Close, Waterlees Road, Lynn Road, A47, West Drove Link Road, A47, West Drove North, Police Road, Folgate Lane, Walpole Bank (Walsoken, Walpole Highway, West Walton, Walpole, Wisbech). The works promoter is BT.

WEREHAM – B1160 College Road from 1100m south of its junction with C32 West Dereham Road for 50m to facilitate drainage clearance, waterproofing and expansion joint repair works from 24th to 26th August 2026 (may continue until 7th October 2026). Alternative route is via: College Road, Wereham Bypass, Lynn Road, Mill Lane, Downham Road, Bexwell Road, A10 Downham Eastern Bypass/Lynn Road/Fordham Bypass, Main Road, A10 Southery Bypass, Feltwell Road, Decoy Road (Methwold, Stradsett, Denver, Downham Market, Southery, Hilgay, Fordham, Ryston, West Dereham, Crimplesham, Wereham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle tracks, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT), but may also be extended further by the Secretary of State.

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
