Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the C606 Mildenhall Road, West Row from the junction with Beeches Road for 160 metres eastbound to facilitate sewer and manhole works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Beeches Road, Jarmans Lane, Mildenhall Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 24/08/2026 - 18/09/2026 but, if necessary, the Order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC
AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON PART OF
THE U5617 AUSTIN STREET, IPSWICH
Suffolk County Council has made an Order closing the U5617 Austin Street, Ipswich from Stoke Street to Vaughan Street to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Stoke Street, Rectory Road, Station Street, Wherstead Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U5617 Austin Street to allow access and egress.
For the duration of this closure there will also be a prohibition of waiting on the U5617 Austin Street from Stoke Street to Vaughan Street. There will be no exceptions.
As this road closure is required to permit essential works to the highway, any vehicles that remain in the area affected during the period of the restriction may be removed in accordance with powers available to do so.
