(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of 1: U63001 Fruitlands from a point of 158 metres east of its junction with U63012 King Edwards Rd for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction until its junction with U63005 Cherry Tree Dr. 2: U63008 Jasmine Road from its junction with U63001 Fruitlands for the entire length of the cul-de-sac.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Alternative route: U63012 King Edwards Rd, U63000 Peachfield Rd, U63001 Peachfield Cl and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs) between 26 August 2026 and 22 September 2026.
(B4219 Cowleigh Park, Cradley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4219 Cowleigh Park from its junction with C2207 Old Hollow for a distance of 945 metres northwest until the boundary with Herefordshire.
Reason: utility works by Openreach.
Alternative route: B4219 Cowleigh Rd, B4232 North Malvern Rd, A449 Worcester Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, B4503 Leigh Sinton Rd, B4503 Upper Interfields, B4503 Lower Interfields, B4503 Malvern Rd, A4103 Leigh Sinton, A4103 Dragons Cross to Hereford Rd, A4103 Dragons Cross, A4103 Storridge into Herefordshire and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.
Commencing: 14 September 2026.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Various Roads, Great Malvern) (20 Mph Zone) Order 2026
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to impose a 20 MPH Zone on the following lengths of roads in Great Malvern to 20 miles per hour:
U63200 Edith Walk – Entire Length
U63201 – Entire Length
B4211 Wells Road – Entire Length
B4211 Church Street – From its junction with A449 in an easterly direction to a point 70m east of its junction with C2232 Graham Road.
C2232 Graham Road – From its junction with B4211 Church Street to a point 26m south of its junction with U63205 Como Road.
A449 – From a point 40m south of its junction with B4211 Wells Road for a distance of 435m in a northerly direction.
C2232 Grange Road – From its junction with B4211 Church Street to a point 20m east of its junction with C2232 Abbey Road
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
