TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (HARLEY GARDENS) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Harley Gardens to be closed from outside of No 7 to outside No 11.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for crane works.
The restrictions will come into force from 07.00hrs until 19.00hrs on Tuesday 8th September 2026, with a backup date of Tuesday 15th September 2026.
Diverted through traffic may use Harley Gardens, Milborne Grove, Gilston Road, Priory Walk, Harley Gardens, or Harley Gardens, Prior Walk, Gilston Road, Tregunter Road, Redcliffe Gardens, Fulham Road, Gilston Road, Milborne Grove, Gilston Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
