TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (OSSINGTON STREET) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Ossington Street to be closed from outside of No 12to outside of No 2.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Monday 7th September 2026 until 18.00hrs on Monday 14th September 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Ossington Street, Moscow Road, Palace Court, Notting Hill Gate, Ossington Street.
The One-way working of Ossington Street is to be suspended for the duration of the road closure.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
