THE OLDHAM - BACK STONELEIGH STREET, OLDHAM
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2026
The Oldham Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that part of Back Stoneleigh Street, from a point 32 metres south-east of its junction with Yates Street.
The alternative route will be via Yates Street, London Road, Westminster Street.
The Order is to be made to ensure the safety of pedestrians and will be in force for 18 months from 2nd September 2026, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
