TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON A5111 RAYNESWAY, DERBY

WHEN: 22 September 2026 to 23 September 2026 (20.00 to 06.00) Overnight Only

WHERE: Raynesway, from the Derby Road/Acorn Way/Raynesway Roundabout to A5111 Raynesway

REASON: Grass cutting and Horticultural maintenance

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Southbound Closure: Derby Road – Spondon Roundabout – A52 Eastbound – Victoria Avenue – A52 Westbound – Raynesway Southbound and Northbound Closure: Raynesway Northbound – A52 Westbound – Circumnavigate the Pentagon – A52 Eastbound – Derby Road

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON INGLEWOOD AVENUE, MICKLEOVER, DERBY

WHEN: 07 September 2026 to 09 September 2026

WHERE: Inglewood Avenue, No 58 at its junction with Tiverton Close Access
to be maintained

REASON: Install large sluice valve

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Inglewod Avenue – Ladybank Road – Station Road – Inglewood Avenue (and the same in the opposite direction).

TEMPORARY ONE WAY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON LONDON ROAD AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE LEFT TURN ORDER ON SHARDLOW ROAD, DERBY

WHERE: London Road, one way closure from its junction with Shardlow Road for 50 metres. Shardlow Road, suspend the left turn onto London Road

REASON: S278 works

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Shardlow Road – Harvey Road – Osmaston Road – Bradshaw Way – London Road.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON PERTH STREET, CHADDESDEN, DERBY

WHEN: 06 September 2026 to 06 September 2026

WHERE: Perth Street, either side of its junction with Tewkesbury Crescent.

REASON: Repair frame and cover

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Perth Street – Hereford Road – Worcester Crescent (and the same in the opposite direction).

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON PORTER ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 06 September 2026 to 06 September 2026

WHERE: Porter Road, from No 221 to No 225 – a distance of approximately
20 metres.

REASON: Repair frame and cover

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Porter Road – Livingstone Road – Palmerston Street – Fairfield Road (and the same in the opposite direction).

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON STATION ROAD, SPONDON, DERBY

WHEN: 15 September 2026 to 16 September 2026 (23:00pm to 06:00am)

WHERE: Station Road, Spondon, 20 metres each side of the railway crossing.

REASON: Level crossing inspection works

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road – A6005 Derby Road – Spondon Interchange Roundabout – A6005 Derby Road – A5111 Raynesway – East Service Road – Megaloughton Lane – Celanese Road – Holme Lane and Holme Lane – Celanese Road – Megaloughton Lane – East Service Road – West Service Road – A5111 Raynesway – A6005 Derby Road – Spondon Interchange Roundabout – A6005 Derby Road – Station Road.

WHEN: 25 September 2026 to 25 September 2026

WHERE: Wayfaring Road, from its junction with Wood Road to No 28.

REASON: Repair frame and cover

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bishops Drive – Mansfield Road – Stratford Road – St Andrews View – Max Road – Wood Road (and the same in the opposite direction).
