What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(HALLEN ROAD, HENBURY, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Hallen Road which extends from Henbury Road north westwards for 40 metres.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 21st September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 21st September 2026 and 2nd October 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kings Weston Road, Long Cross, then turn around at the Long Cross roundabout junction with Kings Weston Lane, Long Cross, Kings Weston Road, Hallen Road (part unaffected)

(STEPNEY ROAD, WHITEHALL, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Stepney Road which extends from Devon Road to Stepney Walk.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 21st September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 21st September 2026 and 23rd October 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Devon Road, Prospect Place, Johnsons Road, Stepney Road (part unaffected) and vice versa

(ERMLEET ROAD, REDLAND, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Ermleet Road which extends from Redland Road northwards for 35 metres.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 28th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 28th September 2026 and 2nd October 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ermleet Road (part unaffected), Clarendon Road, Redland Road and vice versa

(ESSERY ROAD, EASTON, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Essery Road which extends from Greenbank Road to Robertson Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 12th October 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 12th October 2026 and 6th November 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Greenbank Road, Emlyn Road, Robertson Road and vice versa
