NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Peterborough Road A605, Elton and Peterborough Road A605, Haddon as lies between Fletton Parkway Interchange & North Northamptonshire border. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1; A47; A43; A6116; A14 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 1/9/26 & 29/2/28 (at various times), when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The above order shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
