(Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and

(On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.18) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order:

1. To Revoke: Permit holder only ‘A’ Mon-Fri excluding Public Holidays 9am-4pm’ on the following lengths of roads:

Road Name: Bradley Avenue, Hadleigh

Description:

Both Sides: From a point approximately 2.5 metres south of the boundary of No’s 33 and 35 Bradley Avenue south for approximately 20 metres

2. To Implement: ‘Mon-Fri 9am-4pm 1 hour No return within 2 hours’ on the following lengths of roads:

Road Name: Bradley Avenue, Hadleigh

Description:

West Side: From a point approximately 2.5 metres south of the boundary of No’s 33 and 35 Bradley Avenue south for approximately 20 metres

3. To Implement: ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Restrictions on the following lengths of roads:

Road Name: Bradley Avenue, Hadleigh

Description:

East Side: From a point approximately 2.5 metres south of the boundary of No’s 33 and 35 Bradley Avenue south for approximately 20 metres

Road Name: A13 Kiln Road, Hadleigh

Description:

i. North Side: From a point approximately 2.5 metres east from the extended eastern kerb line of Bradley Avenue east for approximately 159 metres

ii. South Side: From a point approximately 14.5 metres east from the western boundary of No. 24 Kiln Road east for approximately 135 metres

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) And (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting map tile: TQ785 877 Revision 0 to Revision 1

(The Broadwalk (Footpath/Cycleway, Wickford)

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026)

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close The Broadwalk (footpath/cycleway), Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Twinstead, south to its junction with Speyside Walk.

Diversion routes:

Salcott Crescent, Twinstead and vice versa.

Radwinter Avenue, Scott Drive, Tayside Walk and vice versa.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24 August 2026 to 04 September 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public while the construction of a new outfall manhole is undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 24 August 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath 104 (Beauchamps Crossing) Wickford)

(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 104 (Beauchamps Crossing) in the Borough of Basildon from Beauchamp Drive southeast for approximately 89 metres across the crossing.

Diversion route: Beauchamps Drive, Hill Avenue, Southend Road, Alicia Walk and vice versa.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 21 August 2026 to 07 September 2026 where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public to allow the track renewal through foot crossing.

The Order will come into effect on 21 August 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Castledon Road, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Castledon Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 390m south east of the junction with Vera Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEAA3512376RCSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dunton Road, Little Burstead/Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 1330m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WH3GW59MPTSB/BC008WH3GW59M01PTSB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junctions with London Road/Bread and Cheese Hill for a distance of approximately 50m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30048830808 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kents Hill Road, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03768166104/1 – Anglian Water Business (National)). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Anglian Water Business (National).

An alternative route is available via Kents Hill Road, Melcombe Road, South View Road, High Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Long Road/Thorney Bay Road, Canvey Island)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Long Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 150m east of its junction with Hawkesbury Road for a distance of approximately 70m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Thorney Bay Road, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point from its junction with Long Road to its junction with Silverthorne, a distance of approximately 35m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 20 nights (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2404361/EP201EH2404361A – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while junction improvement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Alternative routes are available via Long Road, Furtherwick Road, Central Wall Road, Somnes Avenue, Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road, Long Road or Long Road, Canvey Road, Canvey Way Roundabout, Somnes Avenue, Elder Tree Road, High Street, Foksville Road, Furtherwick Road and Long Road, or Thorney Bay Road, Western Esplanade and Furtherwick Road to join diversion above.

The Order will come into effect on 28th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (Laindon Link, Basildon)

(Temporary Suspension of Bus Gate) (No.11) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily suspend the bus gate in that length of Laindon Link, Basildon as detailed in ‘The Essex County Council (Laindon Link, Basildon) (Bus Gate) Order 2020 for the duration of the above closures only.

“The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27th August 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Johns Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Lynton Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGRTW75H – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Various Roads, District of Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Suspension of Weight Restriction) Order (No.5) 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Rochford as specified in schedule to this Order.

2. To temporarily suspend the weight restriction in that length of Canewdon Road/Lark Hill Road/Lambourne Hall Road, Rochford from its junction with Ashingdon Road to its junction with Creeksea Road as detailed in “The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991 for the duration of the closures only.

3. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of the carriageway as per schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 13th August 2026 exact dates will be specified on one.network.
