The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd September 2026 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (N5004P105516N0025386-R1 – The Electricity Network Company Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while electrical works are undertaken by The Electricity Network Company Limited.
An alternative route is available via B1022, B1023, B1026, B1022 and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cromwell Hill, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 50m north east of its junction with Silver Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th September 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGTNL78L – Openreach). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the bus gate on that length Mill Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 10m north east of its junction with Park Drive, Maldon for a distance of approximately 5m in north easterly direction as detailed in “The Essex County Council (Mill Road, Maldon) (Bus Gate) Order 2022”. The suspension is scheduled to continue from 17th August 2026 for a further 39 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001530678 – Cadent Gas). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southminster Road, St. Lawrence in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 790m west of its junction with Tillingham Road for a distance of approximately 165m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M194228 – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service disconnection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. To introduce a temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 27th August 2026 exact dates will be specified on One.Network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion route will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
