TEMPORARY CLOSURE C259 THE STREET (NORTH NIBLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C259 The Street from outside of the property known as ‘No.5 The Street’ to outside of the property known as ‘No.7 The Street’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of the national grid.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00 hours on the 25th August 2026 to 16:00 hours on the 28th August 2026 However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401514 FORTHAY (NORTH NIBLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), to temporarily close part of the 401514 Forthay Road, from outside of the property known as ‘Hill Crest’ to outside of the property known as ‘Forthay Hotel’ for a distance of approximately 360 metres.
The reason for the closure is for broadband and telecommunication works.
The road is expected to be closed from 24th August 2026 until 27th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C358 STATION ROAD (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C358 Station Road, in a southwards direction approximately 460 metres before the Berkeley Bypass, for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the closure is for bridge inspection works by Network Rail.
The road is expected to be closed from 22:00hrs on 24th August 2026 until 06:00hrs on 25th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401484 Holywell Road from outside of the property known as ‘No.8 Holywell Road’ to its junction with Holywell Road to The Square, for a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for replacement of poles.
The said road is expected to be closed on the 9th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401485 BLACK QUARRY HILL TO SYNWELL LANE (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401485 Black Quarry Hill to Synwell Lane Road, from a point approximately 65 metres west and opposite the property known as ‘Reform Lodge’, to outside of the property known as ‘Reform Lodge’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for replacement of poles.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 11:00hrs on the 9th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The said road is expected to be closed on 9th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4058 Haw Street from its junction with High Street to outside of the property known as ‘The Pack Horse’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Wales & West Utilities
The road is expected to be closed on 6th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
