THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (DEVONSHIRE STREET, WORKSOP) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026 (1278A)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be in respect of roads at Worksop in the District of Bassetlaw: ‑
1. Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road: -
DEVONSHIRE STREET, WORKSOP (the north-west side)
- From a point 211 metres north-east of its junction with Water Meadows in a north-easterly direction for 36 metres.
2. Other restrictions: - Bus Stop Clearway – No Stopping on Mon – Fri between 8am and 4.30pm, except Buses on the following lengths of road: -
DEVONSHIRE STREET, WORKSOP (the north-west side)
- From a point 247 metres north-east of its junction with Water Meadows in a north-easterly direction for 19 metres.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 24th AUGUST 2026.
The restrictions have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate and obstructive parking.
