THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(MASON STREET) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Mason Street in both
directions between properties 43 to 51.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 24 August 2026 until 25 August 2026,
between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only.
The vehicular diversion routes are:
l Southbound: Dudley Road, Bromley Street,
Lower Villiers Street.
l Northbound: Dudley Road, Drayton Street,
Lower Villiers Street.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repair works
by City of Wolverhampton Council.
