ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026 (BRIDGE END, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Go TM have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bridge End from Bramston Street to Bridge Road a distance of approximately 120 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Bridge End, Briggate, Owler Ings Road, Halifax Road, Ludenscheid Link, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road, Fixby Road, Clough

Lane, New Hey Road, Crow Trees Lane, Church Street, Thornhill Road, Bramston Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.

(BUTTERWORTH LANE, TRIANGLE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Butterworth Lane from Rochdale Road to Dean Lane for a distance of approximately 475 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Rochdale Road, West Street, Foundry Street, Sowerby New Road, Stocks Lane, St Peter’s Avenue, Dean Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 24th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 07:30 & 18:00.

(STONEY LANE/ELLEN HOLME ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stoney Lane/Ellen Holme Road from Styes Lane to Spring View Road for a distance of approximately 714 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Spring View Road, Jerry Fields Road, Brocks, Sowerby Lane, Acre Lane, Pinfold Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 11:00.

(BACK SPRING HALL PLACE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Spring Hall Place from Newstead Avenue for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 26th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(WEST LANE, SOUTHOWRAM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of West Lane from its junction with Towngate to Hall Ings House for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Towngate, Law Lane, Bank Top, Southowram Bank, Bank Bottom, Berry Lane, Lower Kirkgate, Bailey Hall

Road, Swan bank Lane, Siddal New Road, Whitegate Road, Oxford Road, Jubilee Road, Backhold Lane, Park Lane, Change Lane and vice versa. Access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 26th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 1st September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(IVY STREET SOUTH, HALFIAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ivy Street South from Ivy Street to rear of 26 Savile Park for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TOOTHILL BANK, RASTRICK)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Doocey Traffic Management, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Toothill Bank from Ogden Lane to Toothill Lane for a distance of approximately 300 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Ogden Lane, Church Street, Crowtrees Lane, New Hey Road, Clough Lane, Fixby Road, Bradford Road, Toothill Lane, unaffected part of Toohill Bank and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 05:00.

(NEW ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Roadway UK Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to proceed in the length of New Road from its junction with Church Street to 18 New Road for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Prescott Street, Wellington Place, New Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 28th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and re-opened on 10th May 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BRIER HEY LANE, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brier Hey Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to The Briers for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 8th September 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.

(HEIGHT ROAD, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Height Road from its junction with Foster Clough Bridge to Rough Bottom for a distance of approximately 210 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Height Road, Nook Lane, Billy Lane, Parrock Lane, Akroyd Lane, A6033 Keighley Road, Commercial Street, A646 Burnley Road, Midgley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe Wood Lane from No.1 to Walter Clough Lane for a distance of approximately 600 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Sutcliffe Wood Lane, Half House Lane, Halifax Road, Brighouse Road, Halifax Road, Tanhouse Hill, Station Road. Access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(TAN HOUSE LANE, NORTHOWRAM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Tan House Lane from its junction with Lands Head Lane to Teal Lane/Whinney Royd Lane for a distance of approximately 335 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Lands Head Lane, Score Hill, Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road, Whinney Royd Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(OLD LANE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Old Lane from No.125 to 2 Woodfield Cottages for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Old Lane, Broad Tree Road, Ovenden Road, Orange Street, Broad Street, Northgate, North Bridge Street,

Bowling Dyke. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 9th September 2026.
