What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 16(A) Craven Park Road And Tavistock Road (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2026

The Council of The London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, due to thronging expected to be caused by Notting Hill Carnival that is likely to cause danger to the public, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in those lengths of:-
(a) Craven Park Road, which lies between the north-western kerb line of Crownhill Road and the south-western kerb line of Manor Park Road;

(b) Tavistock Road, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Manor Park Road and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 5 and 7 Tavistock Road,

when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above will apply between 30th August 2026 and 31st August 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Craven Park Road and Tavistock Road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the event and it does not compromise the safety of any of the participants.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions in (a) and (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
