This prohibition is necessary for overhead connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Passage Lane, Fowey from near layby to junction with Penventinue Lane.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Fowey.
This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd September 2026 to 24th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Browns Hill, Fowey for its entire length.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway Footway at South Street, Lostwithiel between South Street and Quay Street.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to structural concerns.
The Order will come into operation on 26th August 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 25th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 5th August 2026 for a period of 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 24th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 19th September 2026. Road subject to prohibition - Church Street, Callington for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Callington. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Church Street, Callington for its entire length. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.
