What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH No. 20, BERE FERRERS)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
ORDER 2026


NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From: Tuesday, 1st September 2026 To: Monday, 1st March 2027 No persons shall proceed on the section of the affected path except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of path.
The order will continue in force for a period not
exceeding six months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
Public right of way affected: FOOTPATH No. 20, BERE FERRERS for a section between
the east of Down View and bowling club.

The alternative route is via following the outer perimeter boundary line to the north of the site.

The closure is necessary for housing
development and access road construction
works. Further information may be obtained by contacting Public Rights of Way on 0345 155 1004.
