What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 500506 CLAPTON ON THE HILL TO LEGSSOW LANE GREAT RISSINGTON (CLAPTON ON THE HILL PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 500506 Clapton on the Hill to Legssow Lane Great Rissington Road from its junction with Leasow Lane to its junction with The White House to Broadmoor Farm for a distance of approximately 2390 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for sewer cleaning works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 24th August 2206 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4479 STATION ROAD (BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4479 Station Road from outside of the entrance to the Business Park to adjacent to the Level Crossing for a distance of approximately 158 metres.

The reason for the closure is for the installation of Pressure Monitoring Points

The road is expected to be closed from 8th September 2026 to 10th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400588 BLOCKLEY BROOK (BLOCKLEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400588 Blockley Brook from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Draycott Road for a distance of approximately 523 metres. The reason for the closures is for bridge investigations.

The said road is expected to be closed from 3rd September 2026 until 4th September 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
