The County of Cornwall
(Exeter Street, Southgate Street and Madford Lane, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd September 2026 to 7th October 2026.
Road subject to prohibition - Exeter Street, Launceston for its entire length, Southgate Street, Launceston between property numbers 1, Southgate and 1 Race Hill Terrace and Madford Lane, Launceston between property known as Madford House and the junction with Southgate Street.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty
Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.
Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Exeter Street, Launceston for its entire length, Southgate Street, Launceston between property numbers 1, Southgate and 1 Race Hill Terrace and Madford Lane, Launceston
between property knopwn as Madford House and the junction with Southgate Street.
The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for cabling and desilting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 9th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.
Road affected - Union Hill, Stratton, Bude between the junction with New Road and property known as Pyewell.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for perforated pipe installation, and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September
2026 to 9th September 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Road affected - Coast Road, Bude between grid reference SS 19597 00967 and the junction Access to Widemouth Bay Caravan Park.
An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for new electric connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 21st September 2026 to 29th September 2026.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends
included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd September 2026, for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From County Boundary To Thurdon, Bude between the junction Access to Upper Tamar Lake and grid reference SS 29182 11397.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for gas mains replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th September 2026 to 14th October 2026.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Ocean View Road To Crooklets Road, Flexbury, Bude between the junctions with Crooklets and Maer Down Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for vegetation clearance and civils works to National Highways assets and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th September 2026 to 4th January 2027.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - 83257 Between the A30 and Stanbury Hill, Lewannick, Launceston between junctions with the A30 and Access to garage south of the A30.
