On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles at any time on both sides of the carriageway of Meadow View (D838) Smallfield as extends from a point in line with the common boundary between the rear of the property No.05 and the rear of property No.04 Heather Walk along Meadow View to a point in line with the common boundary between the rear of property No.36 and the rear of property No.35 Heather Walk along Meadow View. This Temporary Order is required to facilitate HGV and construction vehicles to gain access to the development site, allowing a safe working zone without obstruction for, or on behalf of Paul Basham Associates. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 19 weeks, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 31 August 2026. This temporary restriction, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 31 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no access through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

D1421 Church Lane, Chaldon Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D1421 Church Lane, Chaldon that extends from its junction with B2031 Rook Lane, to the southern side of its junction with D1421 Doctors Lane. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains disconnections and/or maintenance works outside “Garden Cottage”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 9am and 4pm, within 5 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times by means of road plates. D1270 Earlsbrook Road, Redhill Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2026
On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on both sides of the carriageway in that length of D1270 Earlsbrook Road, Redhill that extends from its junction with C222 Hooley Lane, to its junction with D1270 St Johns Road. This Temporary Order is required by Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains reinforcement and/or replacement and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm within 2 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. This temporary restriction which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of C69 School Hill, Merstham that is crossed by the Redhill to Merstham railway route at the “Bletchingley Road Railway Bridge” and for a distance of 20m either side. This Traffic Order is required to enable Amey Consulting South East Anglia/Centurion and/or Network Rail to carry out an examination and/or maintenance works to the railway bridge. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 10pm and 6am within 1 night of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

D2842 Leslie Road, Pixham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D2842 Leslie Road, Pixham that extends from the south-western property boundary of “No.17 Leslie Road”, to the south-western property boundary of “No.41 Leslie Road”. This Traffic Order is required to enable McAllister and/or Thames Water to carry out patching and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 2 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. There is no applicable alternative route however access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of a marshal.
B2032 Outwood Lane, Chipstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of B2032 Outwood Lane, Chipstead: – a) at the western side of its junction with How Lane, that is crossed by the “How Lane Railway Bridge” and for a distance of 20m either side.
Alternative route: – Outwood Lane, Lower Park Road, Hollys Lane, Bolters Lane, Winkworth Road, Croydon Lane, Woodmansterne Lane, Little Woodcote Lane, Smitham Bottom Lane, Woodcote Grove Road and Chipstead Valley Road. b) at the northern side of its junction with D1151 Castle Road, that is crossed by the “Chipstead Balley Viaduct” and for a distance of 20m either side. Alternative route: – Outwood Lane, Waterhouse Lane, Bonsor Drive, Brighton Road, Bolters Lane, Holly Lane, Lower Park Road and Outwood Lane. This Traffic Order is required to enable Network Rail to carry out bridge examinations and/ or maintenance and/or associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 10pm and 6am, within 2 nights of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 September 2026, part a) overnight commencing on 03 September 2026, and part b) overnight commencing on 04 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives.
Townpath – Rothes Road (T8049) Dorking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 14 August 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit pedestrians from entering or proceeding on foot or by any other means in the entire length of Townpath – Rothes Road (T8049) Dorking.

Rectory Lane (B278) Woodmansterne Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 14 August 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Rectory Lane (B278) Woodmansterne as extends from its junction with Outwood Lane (B2032) to its junction with Manor Way (D1075).
Alternative route – B2032 (Outwood Lane), Chipstead Way and Manor Way, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate renewal of the drainage system and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 1 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Various in Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.5) 2026
On 20 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice; and (b) revoke part 1 of the Schedule to “Surrey County Council Various in Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.5) 2025”. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carry out carriageway dressing/pre-patching works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 25 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route.
Access for pedestrians will be permitted by the gatemen when safe to do so. Access for cyclists will not be maintained and will be required to follow the signed diversion route/directed by the gatemen on-site.

This Order is required to facilitate telecom pole replacement works for, or on behalf of BT Openreach. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodhatch Road (A2044) Redhill as extends from its junction with (A23) Horley Road to its junction with the access to the property known as “Petridge Wood Farmhouse”. Alternative Route: (1) (A2044) Woodhatch Road, (A217) Dovers Green Road, (A217) Reigate Road, (A23) Brighton Road, (A23) Bonehurst Road, and (A23) Brighton Road; (2) (A23) Brighton Road, (A23) Bonehurst Road, (A23) Balcombe Road, (A23) Brighton Road, (A217) Reigate Road, (A217) Dovers Green Road, and (A2044) Woodhatch Road. Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Grovehill Road (D1266) Redhill as extends from its junction with Ridgeway Road (D1266) to its junction with Garlands Road (D1256).

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of: – a) C85 Wolf’s Row, Limpsfield that extends from its junction with A25 Westerham Road, to the southeastern property boundary of “Wolfe House”. Alternative route: – Wolfs Row, New Road, Kent Hatch Road and Westerham Road. b) B269 High Street, Limpsfield that extends from its junction with A25 Westerham Road, to the southern side of its junction with Hookwood Park. Alternative route: – High Street, Detillens Lane and Westerham Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or maintenance works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within 4 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 07 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures which are anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, businesses and emergency services will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.
A217 Reigate Road, Sidlow Temporary Speed Limit Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: – 1. Reduce the maximum speed limit to 30mph in that length of A217 Reigate Road, Sidlow that extends from its junction with Kinnersley Manor, southwards for a distance of 600m. 2. “The Surrey County Council Reigate Road (A217) Sidlow and Hookwood in the Borough of Reigate and Banstead and Reigate Road (A217) Hookwood in the District of Mole Valley (50 mph Speed Limit and Revocation) Order 2014” shall be suspended insofar as imposes a speed limit of 50mph in the length of A217 Reigate Road, Sidlow described in Part 1. above.
This Traffic Order is required to enable Vodafone Limited to carry out ducting and/or cabling and/or maintenance for a customer connection.
These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8:30am and 6:30pm, within 4 days of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 08 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension and speed limit, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed . The speed limit imposed by this Order shall not apply to vehicles used by special forces in accordance with the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 or in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Police.
D373 Brickhouse Lane, South Godstone Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D373 Brickhouse Lane, South Godstone which extends from its junction with Public Footpath No.357 (Horne) to its junction with Public Bridleway No.275 (Godstone). This Order is required to enable UKPN to carry out installation of service cables, which is anticipated to be completed within 8 days between 8.00am and 4.30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 8 September 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restriction, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain access for emergency service vehicles, which will be required to follow the diversion route. Access to premises within the affected length of road will be maintained by way of road plates. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained via a pedestrian walkway.
Access for residents and businesses will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Alternative Route – Brickhouse Lane, Whitewood Lane, Church Road and Croydon Barn Lane.

On 20 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles, including cyclists, from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to carriageway dressing/pre-patching works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 21 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
