Y darn o gerbytffordd tua’r dwyrain yr A55 sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 30 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o ganolbwynt Cyffordd 16 (Cylchfan Puffin) hyd at drwyniad y ffordd ymuno tua’r dwyrain wrth Gyffordd 18 (Cyfnewidfa Cyffordd Llandudno).
Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin yn ystod oriau golau dydd fydd mynd ar yr A470 tua’r de o Lan Conwy i Fetws-y-coed a’r A5 tua’r gorllewin o Fetws-y-coed i ymuno â’r A55 yn Llandygái: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain.
Pan fydd y ffordd ar gau ar adegau eraill, bydd dau fan cynnull ar gael y ddwy ochr i’r Twnnel. Codir arwyddion ynghylch y rhain gyda rhif ffôn i lorïwyr allu cysylltu â Heddlu Gogledd Cymru i gael cyngor. Ni ddisgwylir i gerbydau gael eu cadw yn y mannau hyn am gyfnodau estynedig.

Y darn o’r llwybr beiciau/llwybr troed sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 787 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o borth dwyreiniol Twnnel Pentir Penmaen-bach tua’r Dwyrain, gan gynnwys y darn o’r llwybr beiciau/llwybr troed sy’n gyfagos i’r ffordd ymadael tua’r dwyrain wrth Gyffordd 17, hyd at ei bentan â’r A457 ar ddiwedd y ffordd ymadael honno.
Y llwybr arall ar gyfer beicwyr a cherddwyr sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain fydd mynd ar y bont feiciau dros reilffordd Caer i Gaergybi, Beach Road a’r A457 Meirion Drive: i’r gwrthwyneb i feicwyr/cerddwyr sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin.

Vehicle width restriction
The length of the A55 westbound carriageway that extends from the nosing of the westbound exit slip road at Junction 18 (Llandudno Junction Interchange) to a point 30 metres east of the centre-point of Junction 16 (Puffin Roundabout), including the westbound entry slip road at Junction 18.
The length of the A55 eastbound carriageway that extends from a point 30 metres east of the centre-point of Junction 16 (Puffin Roundabout) to the nosing of the eastbound entry slip road at Junction 18 (Llandudno Junction Interchange).
The alternative route for westbound vehicles during daylight hours will be via the southbound A470 from Glan Conwy to Betws-y-Coed and the westbound A5 from Betws-y-Coed to join the A55 at Llandygai: vice versa for eastbound vehicles.
For closures during other times two holding areas either side of the Tunnel will be available. These will be signed with a phone number for hauliers to contact North Wales Police for advice. It is not expected that vehicles will be held at these areas for extended periods.
SCHEDULE 8
Temporary prohibition of cyclists and pedestrians and alternative route
The length of the cycleway/footpath that extends from a point 787 metres east of the eastern portal of the Penmaenbach Eastbound Headland Tunnel, including the length of cycleway/footpath adjacent to the Junction 17 eastbound exit slip road, to its abutment with the A457 at the end of that slip road.
The alternative route for eastbound cyclists and pedestrians will be via the cycle bridge over the Chester to Holyhead railway line, Beach Road and A457 Meirion Drive: vice versa for westbound cyclists/pedestrians.
