Beech Avenue - Temporary Road Closure to Install a New Electrical Connection
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford has made under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (BEECH AVENUE) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Beech Avenue, at the junction of A57 Liverpool Road, Irlam, M44 6EW.
The Order is necessary for Electricity North West to install a new electrical connection. The order is due to come into operation on Tuesday 1st September 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 9th September 2026. The diversion routes are via A57 Liverpool Road - Boundary Road - The Crescent, vice versa.
