NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER

(PARISH OF ODIHAM - PART OF FOOTPATH NO.16)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above-named Order, made on 16 July 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath from its current alignment which commences at SU 7292 5205 on the access track leading up to Folly Cottage and continues along the driveway and runs around the eastern side of the property, to a new alignment that follows the eastern boundary of the property and continues south-westwards to rejoin to the footpath before crossing the footbridge to the south of the property.  
A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD and at the offices of Hart District Council Civic Offices, Harlington Way, Fleet GU51 4AE; or online at www.hants.gov.uk/publicnotices. Copies of the Order and the map can be provided on request.  
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Countryside Access, Universal Services, Hampshire County Council, The Castle, Winchester, SO23 8UD or via e-mail to row.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- PPO 5281 no later than 25 September 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made.  
The personal data you provide in any representation will be treated in accordance with Data Protection Legislation, and may be published in a decision report, be disclosed to other interested parties, including the landowner (or their representatives). It may also be made public if the matter is referred to the Planning Inspectorate. Your data will be retained for a maximum period of 3 years from the date that the application is resolved. The legal basis for our use of this information is the compliance with a legal obligation – Highways Act 1980.
