Broughton - Temporary Road Closures due to Sewer Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – HIGH STREET & HORSEBRIDGE ROAD, BROUGHTON, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: that part of High Street & Horsebridge Road between its junction with Queenwood Road and its junction with Coolers Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Queenwood Road, B3084, Beech Tree Walk,
DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 08:00 – 16:30).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for McAllister Group to carry out sewer sealing in the carriageway. If there are any queries or enquiries regarding this Order please contact: helpdeskld@vortexcompanies.com
McAllister Group will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
