CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

BOWLING OLD LANE, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works to be executed on or near Bowling Old Lane, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Bowling Old Lane from a point outside Dixons Sixth Form College to its junction with Stone Arches.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Bowling Old Lane (unaffected section), Gaythorne Road, St Stephens Road, Manchester Road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 09:30 hours on the 21?? of August 2026 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 24?? of August 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
