NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Grove Road, Ware from its junction with Woodley Road north westwards and north eastwards for a distance of approximately 148m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 4 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 7 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of C15 (unnamed road), Stocking Pelham from its junction with Ginns Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 33m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Ginns Road, Berden (unnamed road), Stortford Road, B1038 (Pelham Road/Pump Hill) and C15 (unnamed road).

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON UPLANDS AND THE FOOTPATH SITUATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF NO.37 AND NO.38 UPLANDS, BRAUGHING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Uplands, Braughing from its junction with Green Lane north westwards and south westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated on the north side of No.37 and No.38 Uplands, Braughing from its junction with Green Hill Close south eastwards to its junction with Uplands, a distance of approximately 59m (“the Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Green Hill Close, the footway situated on the east side of Ford Street, the footway situated on the south side of The Street, the footway on the south, west and north sides of Green Lane and the footway situated on the north side of Uplands.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footpath.
The Order will come into effect from 7 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road and Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN BRAUGHING, WARE AND HODDESDON) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of B1368 (Hay Street/Green End), Braughing from its junction with C32 (unnamed road) south westwards to its junction with Gravelly Lane, a distance of approximately 720m.
An alternative route will be via B1368 (Green End/Station Road/Wickham Hill/Buntingford Road), A10 (unnamed road/Buntingford Bypass), B1368 Baldock Road, B1038 (High Street/ Hare Street Road/unnamed road) and B1368 (unnamed road/Dassels Hill/Dassels/Hay Street).
2. that length of A119 London Road, Ware from its junction with A1170 London Road north westwards to its junction with A119 Hertford Road, a distance of approximately 405m.
An alternative route will be via A1170 (London Road/Amwell Hill/Pepper Hill), A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road), A414 (Rush Green Link/London Road) and A119 Ware Road.
3. that length of Plomer Avenue, Hoddesdon from its junction with the A1170 Ware Road/Bridleway roundabout north westwards, south westwards, clockwise and south westwards to its junction with Gosse Close, a distance of approximately 437m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 11 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 7 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

1. that length of A1170 Ware Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with the Bridle Way/ Plomer Avenue roundabout south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Westhill Road, a distance of approximately 829m.
An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road, A10 (Amwell Link Road/unnamed road/ Hoddesdon Link Road) and A1170 Ware Road.
2. that length of Roselands Avenue, Hoddesdon from its junction with A1170 Ware Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3. that length of The Drive, Hoddesdon from its junction with A1170 Ware Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
An alternative route will be via A1170 Ware Road, Middlefield Road, Middlefield Avenue, Dorchester Avenue and The Drive.
4. that length of Briscoe Road, Hoddesdon from its junction with A1170 Ware Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 10m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because gas main works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN LUFFENHALL, ARDELEY, COTTERED AND CROMER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be :-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of Roads, except for access:-
a) that length of C14 (unnamed road), Luffenhall from its junction with B1037 White Hill north westwards to its junction with 3U1951 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 468m.
An alternative route will be via B1037 White Hill, The Heath, Newell Lane, 5U36 (unnamed road) and 3U1951 (unnamed road).
b) that length of 3U1951 (unnamed road)/5U36 (unnamed road) and Harveys Hill Lane, Luffenhall from its junction with C14 (unnamed road) north westwards, north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 1124m.
An alternative route will be via C14 (unnamed road), B1037 White Hill, The Heath and Newell Lane.
c) that length of C14 (unnamed road), Ardeley from its junction with B1037 White Hill south eastwards a distance of approximately 747m.
An alternative route will be via B1037 (White Hill/unnamed road), 3U60 (unnamed road), 3U52 (unnamed road) and C14 (unnamed road).
d) that length of B1037 (unnamed road), Cottered/B1037 White Hill, Cromer from its junction with Mill Lane south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with C14 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 1152m.
An alternative route will be via B1037 (unnamed road), A507 (Baldock Road/unnamed road/ Clothall Road), B656 Whitehorse Street, B197 (High Street/London Road), A507 Baldock Bypass, B197 (Jacks Hill/Graveley Road/High Street), A602 Hitchin Road, A1072 Martins Way, A1155 Verity Way and B1037 (Stevenage Road/High Street/White Hill).
2. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of B1037 White Hill, Cromer from its junction with C14 (unnamed road) north eastwards for a distance of approximately 94m, when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing water mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 24 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 8 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
