Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 22 and Footpath 23 Chelmsford Garden in the City of Chelmsford as below.

Footpath 22, Chelmsford Garden From its junction with Footpath 35 north for approximately 400 metres to its junction with Wheelers Hill.
Footpath 23, Chelmsford Garden From its junction with Footpath 33, north for approximately 595 metres to its junction with Wheelers Hill
Diversion routes:
Footpath 35, Footpath 34, Back Lane, Wheelers Hill West, Bridleway 55 Footpath 35, Footpath 34, Footpath 27, Footpath 28, Footpath 59, Brook Hill, Church Hill, Footpath 16, Footpath 17, Footpath 19, Wheelers Hill.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 01 September 2026 to 01 March 2027 This will be extended as required or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public while the construction of the Northern Radial Distributor Road is undertaken.
The Order will come into effect on 01 September 2026 may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce prohibition of traffic on Domsey Lane, Little Waltham/Chelmsford Garden, in the City of Chelmsford, this road will be Access Only.
Diversion route: Pratts Farm Lane, A131, Main Road, Boreham Road and vice versa.
The restriction is scheduled to commence on 22 August 2026 to 30 August 2026 the hours of 00:01 to 23:59 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. This is required for the safety of the public while various special events take place at Wheelers Hill.
The Orders will come into effect on 22 August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the Events have finished; 22 August – Back to the 80s, 29 August – Summer Solstice, 30 August – R & B Lovers.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Back Lane, East Hanningfield in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Old Church Road to its junction with Fillioll Close a distance of approximately 30m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311004WGSWR45V – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Back Lane, Old Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Little Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Chapel Lane for a distance of approximately 90m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2408965 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Alternative routes are available via:
1. Church Road, Hammonds Road, Hurrells Lane, Chapel Lane, Church Road and vice versa.
2. Church Road, Colam Lane, North Hill, Worlds End, Mowden Hall Lane, B1137, Plantation Road, Church Road and vice versa
The Order came into effect on 13th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Marston Beck, Chelmer Village in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Colyers Reach for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WGSGR27K – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Storms Way, Chelmer Village in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Brook End Road South for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013332989 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Storms Way, Sandford Mill Road, Chelmer Village Way, Kingsford Drive, Brook End Road South and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Woodhill Road, Sandon in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Molrams Lane for a distance of approximately 300m in a south easterly, north easterly then easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to continue on from 17th August or where stated on a valid permit (EC30070859338 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mashbury Road, Chignal/Great Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from the junction with Barrack Lane for a distance of approximately 3145m in a south westerly then north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WGTWFH1P & BC311004WGTWFH1P – Openreach).
