TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – TYERS TERRACE
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable water main replacement works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit vehicles from waiting, including waiting for the purposes of loading or unloading a vehicle, in that length of Tyers Terrace between its junctions with Vauxhall Street and St Oswald’s Place.
(b) introduce a north-east to south-west one-way traffic system in Tyers Terrace between its junctions with Vauxhall Street and St Oswald’s Place.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles would be available via St Oswald’s Place, Kennington Lane and Vauxhall Street.
3. The Order would come into force on 7 September 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 3 months, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 1 month to complete.
