Order made: To close that part of: 1) U61004 Eldersfield from its junction with U61003 Frogmarsh to its junction with U61006 Church Ln.
2) U61005 Coles Lane from its junction with U61004 Eldersfield to its junction with C2211 Eldersfield.
3) C2211 Eldersfield from its junction with B4208 Gadfield Elm to its junction with U61002 Pillows Green. Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils work over multiple phases by WCC.
Alternative route: Diversion 1: B4208 Gadfield Elm, B4208 Malvern Rd into Gloucestershire, C2211 Moorend, C2211 Eldersfield and vice versa. Diversion 2: U61006 Village Rd, C2211 Eldersfield, C2211 Moorend into Gloucestershire, B4208 Malvern Rd, B4208 Gadfield Elm and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 24 August 2026 and 4 September 2026.
(U46228 Back Lane, Bredon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Order made: To close that part of U46228 Back Ln from its junction with U46229 Perwell Cl for a distance of 120 metres in a westerly direction. Reason: To clear blockages in the carriageway by Openreach. Alternative route: U46228 Back Ln (part), U46226 Church St and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.
Commencing: 24 August 2026.
(C2217 Bushley Green, Bushley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2217 Bushley Green from its junction with Wood St (Private Road) to its junction with C2217 Green St. Reason: Replace Pole by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2217 Green St, A438 Long Green, A438 The Oxhey, C2217 Church End to A438 The Oxhey, C2217 Bushley Green to Church End and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 15 September 2026.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES
FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Bridleway BK-523, Beckford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 13 February 2025 the effect of which is to close Bridleway BK-523 for its entire length which was due to expire on 24 August 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 24 November 2026 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made to enable upgrade construction works at the sewage treatment plant and the installation of three new reed beds and other mechanical equipment.
Alternative route: There is no alternative route.
