What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

MINWORTH ROAD, WATER ORTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Works to remove debris that is building up under the bridge.

Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 28 August 2026.

Access & Diversion: Water Orton Lane, Minworth Parkway, Kingsbury Road, Minworth Road, A4097, Lichfield Road, Newlands Lane, Marsh Lane and vice versa.

Contractor: Kier Group, Tel: 03300 183515.

HAMS LANE, CURDWORTH & HAMS LANE, LEA MARSTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Joint hole works in verge and carriageway to provide new supply to substations. 

Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 24 August 2026.

Access & Diversion: Faraday Avenue, Newlands Lane, Lichfield Road, A446, Kingsbury Road, Haunch Lane, Church Lane and vice versa.

HASTINGS ROAD, GRENDON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works and kerb/ ironwork replacements. 

Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 1 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Spon Lane, Hastings Road and vice versa.

A4091 TAMWORTH ROAD, WISHAW
Order Effect: A 30mph Speed Limit will be imposed on Tamworth Road, Wishaw between Lichfield Road Roundabout and the Layby at Middleton House Farm. Prohibited U turn on Tamworth Road, Wishaw between Lichfield Road roundabout and the layby at Middleton House Farm. The layby on Tamworth Road Wishaw, immediately prior to Middleton House Farm, will be closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users.

Order Commences: 25 August 2026.

Anticipated Completion: 30 August 2026 until 30 August 2026 inclusive.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders: WISHAW LANE, WISHAW
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to replace pole.

Order Commences: 10 September 2026 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 10 September 2026.

Access & Diversion: Lichfield Road, Middleton Lane, Green Lane and vice versa.
