Field Lane - Extension Of Existing Waiting Restrictions Order

NORTH HERTFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(Sollershott West, Sollershott East, Broadway, Field Lane, Letchworth) - (Restriction Of Waiting) Order 2025 - (Amendment No1) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the North Herts Council (pursuant to arrangement made with Hertfordshire County Council) has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order will be to extend the existing Restriction of Waiting on both sides of Field Lane from points at no’s 36 and 37, in a southerly direction to points at no’s 38 and 41 Field Lane, Letchworth as described in the Schedule to this Notice.

The above-named Order will come into force on 14th September 2026. Copies of the Order, the plan and the statement of reasons may be inspected during normal office hours (by appointment only) at the offices of North Hertfordshire District Council, Gernon Road, Letchworth and on the Council’s website at: www.north-herts.gov.uk, Ref: MH/26/00068/TRO/FIELDLANE/AMENDMENT. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is published may apply to the High Court for this purpose.

No Waiting Monday – Friday 10:00am – 11:00am and 4:00pm – 5:00pm
