PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT) ORDER 2026
On 10 April 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to proceed on foot (with the exception of persons engaged on Footpath Reconstruction) on Achray Road, Cumbernauld from Lane at Number 84 to Lane at Number 116 by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: From Number 86 Northwest and Southwest to number 101 and Southeast to crossing at number 93
Vehicular and Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Saturday, 22 August 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 28 August 2026.
