(THTTC4253 HIGH STREET, PAULTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of High Street, Paulton from its junction with Bristol Road extending south west to a point outside Britannia Cottage. USRN: 47917698.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to lay 3m of duct in carriageway and 1m of duct in verge from the 22nd August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bath Road – Britten’s Hill – Ham Lane – B3355 – High Street – vice versa.
