What is happening?

SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council propose to make an
Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other
enabling powers
The effect of the order will be to introduce a 20 MPH Speed Limit on the
following roads:-
Wheatley Hills
School Lane – The Whole
New Hills Road – The Whole
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the restricted roads and a
statement of the Councils reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined at
the Council Office, Civic Office, Waterdale Doncaster between the hours of 9 am and
4.30 pm or on the Doncaster Council Website via the following link

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your
objection in writing to City of Doncaster Council, Safer Roads, Civic Office, Waterdale,
Doncaster DN1 3BU or by email to
