THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(CASTLECROFT ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Castlecroft Road in both
directions between its junction with Windmill Lane and
Castlecroft Avenue.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 21 August 2026 until 27 August 2026,
between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only.
The diversion route is: Castlecroft Lane, Windmill Lane
and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repair works
by City of Wolverhampton Council.
