What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE ORDER
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 26 (PART) STAVELEY PARISH

WHEN: 28th August 2026 to 26th February 2027
WHERE: Footpath no. 26 from immediately east of The Paddocks to Pump House Farm.
REASON: For the safety of the public due to construction traffic passing along the footpath for building works at Pump House Farm.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: No alternative route is recommended.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
