ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT NO. 4) ORDER 2026

On 11 August 2026 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce a 20mph speed limit zone around Idsall School in Shifnal, as follows:

20mph speed limit zone
Coppice Green Lane
That length of Coppice Green Lane from its junction with Curriers Lane to a point 130 metres southwest of its junction with Poplar Street.

Any existing speed limits at the above location will be revoked.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (COPPICE GREEN LANE, SHIFNAL) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026

On 11 August 2026 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce the following parking restrictions around the Idsall School in Shifnal:

Prohibition of stopping on School Keep Clear entrance markings
Coppice Green
Lane
(north side)
From a point 25 metres north-east of the
southernmost access to Idsall School for a distance of 44 metres in a south-westerly direction.

From a point 19 metres north-east of the
northernmost access to Idsall School for a distance of 44 metres in a south-westerly direction.

All of the above changes will come into effect on 21 August 2026.
Copies of the orders may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am- 5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.

If you wish to question the validity of either Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 11 August 2026, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
