NO.201 (PART) GLOSSOP PARISH

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 19 February 2026 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which was to close part of Footpath No. 201 Glossop Parish to facilitate public safety during the construction of a housing development, has been further continued.
WHEN: 25 August 2026 to 24 February 2027.
WHERE: Closed from 80m from the north entrance at Shaw Lane, south to Dinting Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the Northern closure point go East then South along the fenced path that has been provided by the developer, then (with care) cross Dinting Road and go west along the pavement and re-cross the road to the southern entrance of the footpath, and vice versa in the opposite direction.
During the closure period access will be accommodated whenever reasonably possible on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should contact Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
