What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE

ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred by section 15 (5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has approved of the continuing in force of the Order made and effective on 19th February 2026. As the works have not been completed the Secretary of State for Transport granted an extension of the Order until 19th August 2027 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the path referred to in the Schedule below due to works being carried out on the line of the right of way. The alternative routes available (if any) are referred to in the schedule below.

The path will be closed in the interest of public safety.
