A339 Kingsclere Bypass, Kingsclere, Basingstoke & Deane - Temporary Road Closure due to tree pruning
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of A339 Kingsclere Bypass between its junction with B3051 Little Knowl Hill and a point approx. 253m southeast from that junction (end of the dual carriageway section).
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B4640, A35, A303, A30, A340.
DURATION OF ORDER: from 7th September 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for TCL123 to carry out tree pruning. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order or the associated works, please contact: selm@enerveo.com
TCL123 will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
